My challenge with this piece was to take something that may look ordinarily repetitive and interrupt its balance. Interrupt its balance while still maintaining logic and purpose.
With adding just enough change the piece finds itself more interesting to the eye. It is like a good jazz album that plays at just the right volume to sooth and low enough that it is almost not there.
